My daughter is now 5 months and does enjoy this jumper/bouncer plaything, however, I've decided to come back on here and write a review after of what happened today. It is potentially hazardous.
I compared this to others before purchasing, and did see a review which mentioned one baby's arm getting stuck in a certain area on the jumper. That got my attention, but after continuing to look around I bought this one anyway. My baby enjoys the spinning component, and today, as she was spinning it, her arm came down and DID get stuck in that same area that was mentioned as hazardous in the other review I referenced earlier. Although I never leave my baby unattended while playing in her bouncer, I think it would be prudent for Baby Einstein to redo that design component to be a bit wider, so babys' arms do not get wedged between the tight space. My daughter's arm got stuck 3 times in less than 5 minutes, until I finally just rotated the chair so she could play with the components on the other side instead of that one.

Here's the danger, if a parent puts baby in the bouncer, turns away for a moment and baby's arm gets wedged, because of the rotating chair and the pulling while bouncing, I think a little baby arm bone could potentially get fractured.

I spent weeks looking for the perfect jumper, and like many other moms, it came down to this or the more expensive Fisher Price. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GO WITH THE FISHER PRICE! I am sitting here trying to figure out how to return this thing because my husband hastily threw away the box it came in after it took him so long to assemble.

AFTER THE VERY FIRST DAY, THE PIANO, the main feature that separates this from the Fisher Price jumper, STOPPED WORKING. Changing the batteries didn't help. It just completely tapped out. AFTER THE VERY FIRST DAY. I'm pissed off. I have twin boys, and I don't have money and time for this. But I wanted to make damn sure that no other mothers are duped into buying this.

Beyond the piano issue, it overall lacks activities. There's really only the one side that does anything (moves = cause/effect) now and that's the part the twins like to play with. So there's just this huge clunky thing that's sitting around the house and I hate it.

This toy is hours of entertainment for our 7 month old. The seat spins, which makes it easy for baby to switch from toy to toy. I was concerned after some of the reviews that there would be issues with the seat, but there have been none so far. The four hanging points (rather than some that have 3) mean a lot of bouncing and side to side motion on a very secure frame. What is extremely refreshing is that the songs are not out of tune or annoying, which is a HUGE plus for us.

The piano has a shapes, songs, and numbers setting with the first two available in english y español. Side #2 has a chewable sunflower and a spinning bird (this baby's personal fav), side #3 is a table, and side #4 is a spinning frog & mirror/beads deal. The beads think makes a lot of noise when baby jumps which seems to be pretty fulfilling. A huge perk is that the bars have loops to attach her favorite toys and books that make them easy to switch on and off.
The height is extremely easy to adjust, which is what we didn't like about the Fisher price jumper. There's no turning it upside down; just spin the grips and move it up or down. Everything around the bottom is smooth and safe for baby to crawl around when not in the seat.

The bottom is 2.5 ft by 2.5 ft. For long term storage we dissemble the bottom from the top (there are two easy buttons shown in the picture), but this isn't something that we would plan to travel with or store every day. Assembly was pretty straightforward and the parts were well organized; the only hard part was hanging the seat (hint: make sure that the all of the holders are on the same height setting).

All and all, one of the best toys we've gotten for baby. We will buy more from this brand.

This is the second baby Einstein baby bouncer I've purchased. The first one was purchased In 2008 when I had my first baby it was essentially the same bouncer but much better quality. It lasted through my first two kids and part of the way though my third. We got rid of it because we were moving and discovered that it was less expensive to buy a new one then it was to try and ship the old one. ( we didn't have room in the truck) This one is essentially the same bouncer with a few aesthetic changes. The major difference is that this one is not built to last. It does not feel or look as sturdy as the older product . My 8 month old can move it when she bounces. The seat isn't as deep and doesn't offer as much support or padding. Over all it just feels cheap.

I couldn't fit, so I can't claim to have enjoyed it myself. Brother's spawn seemed suitably amused.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Well made, easy to assemble but its not exactly captivating stuff....

The product somes shipped flat pack however most of the assembly is just snap together with the exception of the seat fabric which is held on with a flat hooking mechanism and its a bit fiddly for those of us with JCB bucket hands.

Once assembled the device is firm and safe and I feel confident retreating a few steps to the sofa while my daughter plays in this.

Given the brand I was a bit dissapointed in the actual entertainment factor of this for our child though as its very limited and not exactly captivating stuff even for a 6 month old. We get around 5 minutes of play between going in and wanting to be taken out of it.

To give a quick run down on the 4 corners of this from our daughters perspective

Side 1 - a 3 key keyboard with 3 modes which are play music, play individual notes and speak choosing between the colour of the key and the shape of whats drawn in it reciting it in 3 languages. This draws a smile but it fails to hold her attention for any length of time as once the buttons have been smashed a few times it doesnt really do much more.

Side 2 - a roller cylinder with a mirror and some rattles inside. Keeps her fastinated for a few minutes, the mirror inside the cylinder is a real winner and she goes into budgie mode trying to peer in for a while.

Side 3 - 2 platic toys sticking up that done move or do anything at all. 0 Interest what so ever which is not really surprising.

Side 4 - 2 uprights with some hooks to attach other toys to. 0 Interest what so ever.

Its an excellent bouncer with 4 settings on height so it will last a while however I do feel that they perhaps made 2 of the 4 sides entertaining then tried a lot less hard with the other 2 sides which is a bit dissapointing for a baby einstein product.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Baby loves it

Bought this for baby boy at 5 months, when he was still a little too small for it. Now that his feet almost completely touch the ground (6 months), he loves it and goes wild in it.

Assembly: It took us a while to assemble (about 40 minutes), batteries were not included. The instructions mentioned six wheels to fix onto the seat (it turns 360°), but the package only came with three (see picture). However, it works well with three wheels and the seat turns easily.

Product: There are three settings, one for music, one for counting numbers in English, French and Spanish and one to name shapes (also in three languages). There is a sunflower and a bird that spins on ones side (baby boy loves to chew on the bird), and a frog and spinning picture on the other side). There are four settings for height, we are currently using the lowest setting, baby boy is 6 months and about 72cm. Per instructions, the balls of his feet are touching the ground, but not the whole foot. The construction is very sturdy and quite heavy to lift around. Baby has most fun in it when he is not wearing socks / sleepsuit, so his feet have a strong hold on the floor and do not slip around.

Can definitely recommend!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Very good, worth the money, my son loved it.

Bought this with money I couldn't really afford, but the moment I put my son in it, I knew it was the right decision.
Son was 3 months old but very advanced for age, his face lit up and he loved it. Had it a month and he still goes in it several times a day.
The piano plays 7 songs for younger kids, with a language setting for when they are a little older (says a few words in English, Spanish and French, seems like a very good educational setting). The bars have loops the correct size for fisher price and vtech "hooped" clip toys (the ones you clip to prams, playmats etc).
Was pretty easy to put up, but did take 15-20 minutes, the ropes have protective covers to protect little fingers.
Downsides would be that all the toy stations are fitted in place, so you can't change where they are (although the seat rotates 360° so baby can swivel) but It would have been nice to put his favourite 2 stations next to each other.
I'm also unable to work out what the weird clip station is for, I'm hoping my son will figure it out (although at the minute he's pretty happy just shoving them in his mouth).

4.0 de 5 estrellas Lots to do

This is a fantastic product. I researched for ages to find the perfect activity centre for my baby and was going to buy one double the price of this before I went for this one. There is so much to do, love the piano with the counting and language function as well as music, and lots of space to attach additional toys which we have done. All I would say is that it is fairly sizeable and completely rigid so definitely not for those trying to save on space - you'd have to disassemble the whole thing to put it away anywhere. Also the plastic things you use to attach toys to the bars have large gap in which means toys frequently fall onto the floor (every couple of minutes) and I have to go and reconnect things, but other than that generally a good and entertaining centre for the price.
